Limbal Relaxing Incisions (LRI) are a refractive surgical procedure to correct minor astigmatism in the eye. Micro-incisions are made in the outer (“non-seeing”) part of the cornea, causing a slight flattening in that region, thus correcting the astigmatism and accompanying visual distortion.
