Gila Golchet, O.D.
Gila Golchet, O.D., graduated with honors as a Doctor of Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley in 1999. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Judaism, graduating with honors in bio-ethics. Dr. Golchet has continued her interest in bio-ethics having recently published on the topic of corneal transplantation in the Journal of Optometry (Optometry 2000; 71:318-28). In an effort to expand her clinical experience, Dr. Golchet has

undertaken clinical rotations at some of the nation's finest eye care centers, as well as at the Beijing Medical University in China. She also completed a fellowship in refractive eye care with Dr. Kerry Assil at the Aris Eye Institute.

Dr. Golchet is a Board Certified Optometrist and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, the American Optometric Association, the LA County Optometric Society and the Los Angeles Optometric Association.

Dr. Golchet provides primary eye care, as well as pre- and post-refractive surgical care. She has also developed a special interest in low vision care.
