After this residency, Dr. May joined the Los Angeles County Southwest Area Health Centers, providing patient care with an emphasis on diabetic eye exams and glaucoma screening. He is also an assistant professor within the Department of Ophthalmology at Martin Luther King / Drew University Medical Center where he teaches in the areas of optics and contact lenses.
Dr. May is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a member of the American Telemedicine Association and a consultant for the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education.
At the Assil Eye Institute, Dr. May brings a broad range of experience and expertise in providing pre- and post- surgical care and comprehensive eye exams.
