Your first postoperative visit to our Santa Monica office will include an examination. Many LASIK patients are able to drive themselves to this appointment; however, it's also a good idea to have a ride scheduled, just in case. Your vision will be tested and your doctor will make sure you're using your prescribed eye drops correctly, to prevent inflammation and infection. He or she may also recommend special drops for keeping your eyes lubricated.
