WaveScan WaveFront™ system works by comparing the behavior of light passing through your eye to the behavior of light as it would pass through an ideal eye with error-free imaging. The result is an in-depth representation of the refractive errors or aberrations present in your vision. WaveScan WaveFront ™ measures the correction needed for your eye with much greater precision and detail than traditional instruments. Dr. Assil uses these highly precise WaveScan WaveFront™ measurements to plan the laser vision correction treatment right for you that will be performed using the VISX ™ STAR Excimer Laser System.
